Theme: OM and Analytics ― The New Horizon
Scope:
The last decade has witnessed a huge push into business analytics by leading industrial organizations and research institutes. We are living in an era of big data and storing information has become cheaper than ever. Every process of business operations and decision making is now connected to a network of information. Mobile devices and social networks continuously provide and generate enormous amounts of data every day. This has created a new frontier of innovation that can change the way in which organizations make decisions in their operations. POM researchers are therefore more than ever, urged to use both modelling and data in their research to develop theories and insights. We expect to see more presentations on data-driven OM research, broadly defined; and this conference will foster discussions on research topics and techniques that bring both OM and Analytics together.
